Our Orchids

The majority of our plants are Cymbidium spp. in 1 gallon containers (5" plants available upon request). However, we also grow Miltonia spp. and Dendrobium kingianum. More information can be provided upon request.

Cymbidiums - Flower colors include reds, pinks, yellows, mauve, brown, green, peach and white. Our plants are priced by the number of flower spikes which ranges from 1-5 with a typical bloom count of 8-18 blossoms per spike, depending on the variety. Our main flowering season is from November through April.

We also carry several types of pot covers and containers, and each plant is delivered with a care tag, plant sleeve and UPC label if needed.

Although orchids are not typically thought of as outdoor decoration, Cymbidium orchids are known to grow well in both indoor and outdoor environments, especially in coastal California. Our orchids are grown under shade cloth so they are already partially acclimated to outside growing conditions. This makes it easier for the consumer to grow them outside, if desired.

Cut Flowers - We hope to start making fresh cut Cymbidiums available for shipping in late 2009 or early 2010. We plan to offer them by the spike and ready-for-display, complete with green filler and a decorative wrap. Please call us at (805) 344-3905 or E-mail us for more information.
